A pilot study on Tanner crab survey net efficiency between the NMFS standard survey trawl and the Nephrops trawl completed aboard a charter of the F/V American Eagle immediately following the BBRKC inshore survey. The pilot study completed higher density sampling (52 tows) covering 13 standard NMFS stations in southwest Bristol Bay to complete a first comparison of bairdi CPUE by size and sex of crab captured from the two survey trawls in the same time and area.
